oneM2M 2013 Seoul International Conference Held

On June 21, 'oneM2M 2013 Seoul International Conference' was held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, Seoul with approx. 650 attendants. Aimed at promoting domestic M2M industry and securing a leading role in the international standardization field, this event was organized by the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning and co-hosted by oneM2M, TTA and two other organizations. At this first regional event since the founding of oneM2M, Chairpersons of oneM2M Technical Assembly, Requirement GW and Architecture WG Chairperson forecasted the ʻexperts' viewpoint' of the changes M2M technologies would bring to the world. In addition, M2M technologies and products independently developed by Korea's leading M2M-related companies were introduced. Together with presentations, an exhibition was organized for the participants to experience M2M solutions developed by Korean companies and institutions including LGU+, SKT, Samsung SDS, ETRI and KEITI as well as foreign companies, such as NEC, Inter Digital, Sierra Wireless and Oracle. This event created an opportunity for domestic and international experts to form an international human network.
