34 Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA) standards established and 36 Korea Information Communication Standard (KICS) recommended
On 2007 June 22, the 52nd Technical Assembly was held and 34 TTA standards, which included technologies related to DMB, LBS, and outdoor telecommunications equipment, were established and 49 standards were withdrawn. In addition, 36 TTA standards were selected to be recommended as Korea Information Communication Standard (KICS).
At this Technical Assembly, "TTAS.KO-10.0236 reference model for the u-Healthcare service" standard, a standard for u-Healthcare service infrastructure which allows interoperability between the hardware and software, was established and 12 TTA standards were revised according to the revisions outlined in the ITU recommendations. Also, 49 standards, of which included 27 standards that were no longer in demand due to revisions, were withdrawn.
Moreover, a proposal was made to establish 14 standards, revise 12 standards and withdraw 10 standards to improve inter-industry compatibility and to adopt key national leading technologies.
