TTA Acquires the BQE AST License

President Kim of TTA (Telecommunications Technology Association) announced on the 2nd of July, that Researcher Lee Gang-hae of the Association’s Testing & Certification Laboratory received the Bluetooth BQE AST qualification from the Bluetooth SIG (Special Interest Group).

In addition to the existing BQE (Bluetooth Qualification Expert) qualification which evaluates whether Bluetooth products meet existing standards, the BQE AST enables the qualified individual to Audit, Surveillance and Train personnel. Out of the 34 BQE license holders worldwide, only 11 people hold such license.

A Bluetooth product must receive the SIG Certification in order to be sold. However, many companies sell products without certification and it causes serious compatibility issues amongst products, creating obstacle in the widespread use of Bluetooth technology. With the BQE AST expert selected by the Bluetooth SIG, products can now be audited so that consumers may purchase and use products with a peace of mind.

TTA expects increase use of Bluetooth technology through product audits and training seminars regarding SIG certification with Researcher Lee Gang-hae’s acquisition of the BQE AST qualification.
