| TTA, First to Provide Bluetooth Ver 2.0+EDR Certification Service | |

TTA (President Mr. Kim Won-Sik) BQTF (Bluetooth Qualification Test Facility) announced on February 8 that it would launch certification service for Bluetooth Ver2.0+EDR for the first time in Korea. Ver2.0+EDR (Enhanced Data Rate) is a new standard that increases the transmission bandwidth of Bluetooth from 1Mbps to 3Mbps, which used to be regarded as its weak point. Accordingly, TTA became the one and only test facility in Korea capable of providing certification service for all testing such as RF, Protocol, Profile conformance testing and interoperability testing services, established by Bluetooth SIG (Special Interest Group), an international standardization organization related to Bluetooth, as well as Ver1.2-related services. By providing the Ver2.0+EDR certification service, the TTA BQTF will not only help domestic Bluetooth companies to overcome the difficulty of using foreign test facilities for this test, but also provide faster and more convenient Bluetooth certification service. |
