| TTA Obtained Qualification for Testing from FCC | |

As of August 30, TTA is designated as a CAB (Conformity Assessment Body) acknowledged by the US FCC (Federal Communications Commission). Since TTA was first designated as an organization for conformity assessment of wireless devices by National Radio Research Agency in May 2011, It has been continuously expanding its scope of related testing capabilities, and thus received an additional designation for EMC in November 2012. Additionally approved for testing according to FCC Part 15 (wireless devices) and Part 18 (ISM devices) of the US, It has taken a step closer to providing one-stop testing service for enhanced convenience. As It can reduce both the time period and cost of testing and certification services for communication devices, and thus can provide more improved services, companies in Korea can be assured that the safety and reliability of their products will be ensured, which will surely spur related industry activation. |
