the 77th Technical Assembly Held- 19 TTA standards adopted, 1 standard abolished and 13 proposed Korea Communications Standards (KCSs) selected -

On June 26, 2013, the 77th Technical Assembly was held with agenda items such as adoption of the TTA standards. In the assembly, 19 TTA standards, including ‘Operations, Administration and Maintenance Mechanism for MPLS-TP in Packet Transport Network (PTN)' and 'User Interface of POS Terminal' were adopted, and 1 standard, 'IEEE Trial-use Recommended Practice for Multi-vendor Access Point Interoperability via an Inter-access Point Protocol Across Distribution Systems Support IEEE 802.11 Operation,' was abolished. In addition, the Assembly resolved to propose 13 standards essential for interoperability and public service communication, including standards for ‘Basic Functions and Requirements of Mobile Cloud’ and 'Photographing Sound of Mobile Phone Camera‘ to be adopted or revised as Korea Communications Standards (KCSs).
