Technical Consultancy Workshop Held As part of the Standardization Consultancy Program for Developing Countries that has been executed to enhance developing countries’ standardization capability, TTA held a technical consultancy workshop for experts from government, telecommunication operators and research institutes in the target developing country from 29 June to 1 July 2010. For the workshop, a consultancy group was organized with 6 standardization experts recommended from KT, MODACOM, KBS and net & tv. During the workshop, consultancy was provided for business expertise and technical considerations for implementation on WiMAX & Terminals, IPTV , T- DMB, and 3DTV technology & service. In particular, the workshop was co-held by International Telecommunication Union (ITU), enhancing reliability of the consultancy and improving TTA's reputation as a leading global standardization organization. In the mean time, as a follow-up action of the procedural and technical consultancy, related persons from the beneficiary country will visit Korea from 9 Nov. to 11 Nov. 2010. This study program will include a final reporting session regarding the final outcome of the consultancy program as well as on-site inspection of the progress in standardization of South Korea’s industries and R&D institutes |
