The 64th Technical Assembly Held - 18 TTA Standards Adopted On 16 June 2010, the 64th Technical Assembly was held at TTA to deal with agenda items such as the adoption of TTA standards. This meeting adopted 18 TTA standards including ‘Standard for eXchangeable CAS Transmitter/Receiver Interface’ that is intended for domestic digital cable broadcasting services, and 'Procedure to determine the specific absorption rate (SAR) for wireless communication devices used in close proximity to the human body (frequency range of 30 MHz to 6 GHz)' that may be used to measure exposures from multiple radio resources used in close proximity to human body. Furthermore, 10 old TTA standards were abolished to prevent users' confusion. Before the main meeting started, a welcome address was made by Lee, Keun-hyeob, CEO of TTA, and awards were presented to international ICT standardization experts who have contributed to advancement of domestic standardization and enhancement of the nation’s position through international standardization of domestic standards in 2009. < Award Winners >
