| The 81st Technical Assembly (TA) Held | |

On July 2, the 81st Technical Assembly was held at TTA with agenda items such as adoption of the TTA standards. In this assembly 19 TTA standards including ‘Operations, administration and maintenance mechanisms for MPLS-TP networks using the tools defined for MPLS,' 'Smart plug system,' ‘Test specification of energy service interface for smart plug,’ ‘Standard for digital CATV transmitter/receiver interface’ and ‘Mobile magnetic field communication protocol’ were adopted and 15 presented standards rejected. The assembly decided to recommend a TTA standard , ‘Operational standard for audio loudness level of digital broadcasting’ as a Korea Communications Standard (KCS) to improve the service environment to be established. In addition, Dong-myeon Lee, CEO of KT's Institute of Convergence Technology, was elected as the new chairman. |
