The 63rd Technical Assembly (Electronic Ballot)
- 11 TTA Standards Adopted
The 63rd Technical Assembly (Electronic Ballot) was held from the 18th March to the 26th March, 2010 to deal with agenda items such as the adoption of TTA standards (TTASs).
In the assembly, a total of 11 TTASs were adopted. One of 11 TTASs adopted, the 'IPTV Interchangeable CAS (iCAS)' standard developed with domestic technologies is expected to be applied to domestic IPTV services to realize compatibility and mobility of IPTV terminals. The assembly also revised 9 TTASs conform to revision of ETSI standard regarding TETRA. In addition, as a result of revision of the 'IPTV Middleware' standard, the old standard adopted in 2008 was abolished to prevent users' confusion.
