Completion of WiMAX Forum Certification Testing for Posdata's Mobile WiMAX Wave2 Base Station

Mobile Communication Testing team completed its testing for the WiMAX Forum WiMAX Forum Certification on 2.5GHz Posdata Mobile WiMAX Wave2 Base Station on September 25th. The testing took almost three months to complete to verify RF conformity, protocol conformity and interoperability requirements set by WiMAX Forum. The certified base station (Model: FLYVO RAS6000) supports Wave2 function, including MIMO(Multiple-Input Multiple-Output), and it is the first base station to be certified at TTA Korea. The WiMAX certificate presenting ceremony was held on October 13th, and the certified base station is being utilized as the reference base station for TTA's Mobile WiMAX interoperability testing.
