On December 23, 2010, the 67th Technical Assembly was held at TTA with agenda items such as the adoption of TTA standards. In this assembly, 410 TTA standards including ‘Check Lists for Standard Related to Energy Efficiency' for provision of foundation for Green ICT Implementation, ‘ ‘Basic Configurations of PHY for Short Distance Visible Light Communication’ for enablement of visible light wireless communication, and ‘3DTV Broadcasting Safety Guideline’ for definition of safety terms for 3DTV broadcasting that has just started, were adopted, and 25 TTA standards that had not been utilized or lost their validity due to revisions, including ‘Technical Reference Model 1.0,’ were abolished.
In addition, The Assembly decided to recommend 13 TTA standards that are essential for safety and interconnection of people such as ‘Recommendation on Photographing Sound Level of Mobile Phone with Still Image or Motion Picture Function,’ ‘Standard for Interconnection of SMS Service between Mobile Carriers,' and 'Interface Standard for Terrestrial Digital Multimedia Broadcasting (T-DMB) Automatic Emergency Alert Service' as Korea Communications Standards(KCSs). During the meeting, presentation was made regarding M2M technology and standardization and awards were presented to TTA's ICT standardization committees and their members for their outstanding performance in 2010 as well as winners of the 6th ICT Standardization Thesis Contest, 2010.
