TTA has recently commenced its internationally authorized Wi-Fi certification testing service for wireless LAN products from September 7. TTA, as the 15th authorized test house of Wi-Fi Alliance, is now able to provide certification testing services for over 400 Wi-Fi Alliance members. For Wi-Fi products, test is administered according to the strict interoperability requirements of Wi-Fi Alliance and products that satisfy certification criteria are presented with the Wi-Fi CERTIFIED^TM  trademark. The trend is that the certification mark is essentially required in wireless routers, smartphones, tablets and digital TVs. Through the authorized Wi-Fi service, TTA will be able to provide more substantial information on wireless LAN technology and certification to Wi-Fi Alliance members in Korea . In addition, it is anticipated to significantly lower the dependence on foreign test labs for Wi-Fi certification testing, which has been conducted by foreign agencies, such as SGS and TUV Rheinland.
