From September 15 to September 28, 2011, the 70th Technical Assembly was held via electronic methods. In this assembly, 34 new standards including ‘a Standard for transmission and reception for digital cable 3D broadcasting,’ ‘Assistive services for the vision and hearing impaired’ and 11 revised standards including an IPTV interchangeable CAS (iCAS) were adopted. In addition, the Assembly decided to recommend four standards including ‘iCAS’ to be adopted as a Korea Communications Standards (KCSs). |
