The 77th Coordination Committee Held
- Adopted ICT Standardization Work Items (SWIs) -

On March 15, 2011, the 77th Coordination Committee under ICT Standardization Committee was held with agenda including adoption of SWIs. In this meeting, the committee discussed establishing of the proposed ‘Mobile Magnetic Field Area Network/Charging’ Project Group (PG), and decided to establish the ‘MFAN(Magnetic Field Area Network)’ PG under Radio Communications Technical Committee (TC3) and the ‘Mobile Charging and Application’ PG under Mobile Communication Technical Committee (TC7), respectively. Also, reflecting current trends in technology, the committee changed terms of reference (ToR) of 4 PG’s. Furthermore, the committee adopted 65 SWIs for establishment and revision of new standards, and abolished 10 SWIs that are no longer valid. The committee conferred an appreciation award to Hae-won Jung(ETRI), the former vice-chairman of Technical Assembly and Coordination Committee. It also elected Jin-ho Hahm (ETRI), Managing Director as the next vice-chairman.
