- Creation of 6 new project groups and adoption of new standardization projects - The 64th Coordination Committee(CC) meeting was held on 2007 December 12 to deal with important matters such as the creation of IMT-Advanced Project Group(PG) and adoption of new standardization projects. A total of 6 new Project Groups such as WBAN, VHO, NGIS, SOA, and u-Health were created and the pre-existing Information Security Infrastructure PG was divided into Information Security Infrastructure PG and Personal Information Security/ID Management PG. Also, Internet Security PG was divided into Cyber Security PG and Application Security/Assessment Authentication PG. In addition, 39 new standardization projects, such as 'Requirements and Architecture documents for Mobile Standard Platform Version 3.0' were adopted, while 13 projects were agreed to be discontinued as they no longer need to be standardized. |
