| Approval of 2 International Standards and Election of 9 Leadership Position at ITU-T SG17 - Security | |

ITU-T SG17 meeting was held 11-20 February 2009 in Geneva, Switzerland. With the start of new study period (2009~2011), the meeting elected new leadership group (WP chairman, (associate)rapporteur), and 9 korean delegate from TTA standardization committee and Korea ITU Committee were elected as (vice-)chairman or (associate)rapporteur. In addition, ITU-T SG17 plenary meeting approved 2 international standards which developed by Korea. TTA standardization committee and Korea ITU Committee plan to work actively so that TTA standards and domestic technologies of information security can be reflected as ITU standards.
