Launching of CTIA Internationally Certified Testing Center for Bluetooth

TTA Network Testing Team became the first organization outside of North America to acquire the CATL (CTIA Authorized Test Lab) certificate for Bluetooth on February 2009. Since then, the team is currently offering certification services to those in need.

CTIA (Celluar Telecommunications & Internet Association), only organization in North America that is in charge of certifying mobile communication technologies such as CDMA and GSM, established BCCP (Bluetooth Compatibility Certification Program), apart from Bluetooth SIG (Special Interest Group), for enhanced interoperability among Bluetooth devices, and this test must be passed in order to provide Bluetooth devices to North American service providers such as AT&T and Verizon.

TTA has participated in CTIA Bluetooth Working Group certification program since 2007 and became the 5th in the world to acquire the certificate in this area in February 2009. With the launching of this service by TTA, manufacturers of mobile phones, headsets, and car-kits can obtain domestic testing service where cost and testing time can be reduced to be more competitive in North American market.
