TTA EMC Center Opened

On November 29, 2012, TTA obtained qualification as a designated electromagnetic compatibility testing lab for ICT equipment from the Korea Communications Commission's National Radio Research Agency (Designation No.: KR0149). As wide variety of smart devices are being continuously introduced into the market, the range of products and their testing and certification is expanding in order to minimize interference between devices, thereby ensuring reliability of devices and protecting consumers. Accordingly, the types and range of testing and certification services required by ICT-related manufacturers are also widening. To provide a comprehensive solution, TTA has implemented an electromagnetic compatibility testing facilities. The opening ceremony was held at TTA EMC center in Songdo, Incheon on December 12, 2012. TTA, by providing one-stop testing and certification service covering all ICT fields, is forecast to contribute to improving the competitiveness of Korean small and medium sized enterprises by helping them reduce time and cost required for testing and certification.
