Korea ITU Committee Workshop 2012

The Korea ITU Committee Workshop 2012 was held on Dec. 20, 2012, at ‘L Tower’ in Yangjae-dong, Seoul, in which members of Korea ITU Committee and 120 ICT experts in broadcasting field participated. In the workshop, the results of the World Radio Communication Conferences (WRC), Radiocommunication Assembly (RA), and World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly (WTSA), --the key ITU conferences in 2012-- were reported together with the scope for the next term. The workshop drew interest of the attendants because key revisions of the International Telecommunication Regulations (ITR) were announced together with results of the World Conference on International Telecommunications (WCIT). Also, the key activities of the Korea ITU Committee 2012 and performance per ITU-R/T/D sector as well as standardization promotion strategies for 2013 were announced. The data presented in the workshop are available for download from the Korea ITU Committee website (http://www.koreaitu.or.kr).
