| The 80th Coordination Committee(CC) Held | |

The 80th TTA Coordination Committee (CC) meeting was held at TTA on Dec. 7, 2011 with agenda including establishment of a new Project Group(PG). In the meeting, CC decided to establish an ʻWireless Power Transmission and Applicationʼ PG to promote standardization of wireless power transmission of IT appliances and non-battery operated IT appliances under the IT Application Technical Committee (TC4) and the ToR of the ʻMobile Charging and Applicationʼ PG under the IMT (4G) Technical Committee (TC7)was changed to promote battery-operated mobile ICT devices wireless charging standardization. In addition, considering the international standardization trend, the ʻWBANʼ PG was abolished and ʻIMT Evaluationʼ PG was renamed as the ʻSatellite IMT Evaluationʼ PG in order to additionally promote the satellite IMT evaluation. Furthermore, to promote establishment and revision of the TTA standards, the coordination committee adopted 57 standardization work items (SWIs) and abolished 21 SWIs that are no longer valid. |
