| TTA Signed an Agreement for WiMAX Subcontract Testing with TTC(Taiwan) and TMC(China) | |

In August, TTA signed an agreement for WiMAX Subcontract testing with TTC(Taiwan) and TMC(China), the WiMAX Forum Designated Certification Laboratories. Through this agreement, TTA has further diversified the services of its testing laboratories, and therefore will be able to promptly handle manufacturers’ demand for WiMAX certification testing. At the same time, manufacturers will be able to receive the WiMAX Forum certification testing through TTA’s one-stop service. TTC, as Taiwan’s NCC-funding affiliated organization, conducts studies on communications & broadcasting policies and technologies. In addition, TTC operates a certification testing laboratory for communication technologies and products. TMC, China’s MIIT-funding affiliated organization, manages, supervises and tests product quality in relation to electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of information and communications devices. TMC also provides the international certification testing service for communication technologies and products.
