With its 20 years of cumulated standardization know-hows, TTA started providing consultancy program for developing country in the Asian-Pacific region to enhance their standardization capabilities since last year. This year, TTA selected Vietnam as the service recipient and had the kick-off meeting on-site in February to assess Vietnam’s standardization status and requirements, and the second negotiation meeting was held in Vietnam from April 8th to 10th. This meeting focused on case studies and analysis of Vietnam's standardization policy & development, regulation, system, procedures, human resource development, and ITU response system. Agreement was also made to come up with suggestion for standardization consultancy program. In addition, Vietnam expressed its great interest on TTA Standardization Roadmap and technical consulting for service business models such as 3G, IPTV, and NGN. |
