| Visit from Japan's iSIPc Secretary General | |

Fumihiko Tomita, Secretary General of iSIPc (ICT Standardization and Intellectual Property Promotion Center) of Japan visited TTA on 11 March 2009. Japan's iSIPc, comprised of 8 organizations such as TTC, ARIB, CIAJ, TELEC, SCAT, JATE, ITU-AJ, and JCTEA, was established to strengthen Japan's international competitiveness in the areas of standardization and intellectual property rights. The meeting was held to exchange information on topics such as ICT standardization strategy, standardization roadmap, Forum status, fostering international standardization experts and cooperation between the two organizations. The visit also provided an opportunity to show TTA's testing & certification capabilities. |
