TTA to provide international certification testing for USB starting November USB (Universal Serial Bus) is the most commonly used connection technology used for multimedia devices such as computer, camera, and storage devices. Starting November this year, TTA can test and certify USB products with the qualification received from USB-IF (USB Implementers Forum, Inc.), the forum that develops and controls the certification of USB technology. With acquisition of qualified USB testing & certification body, TTA plans to test the USB 2.0, as well as expand the certificating area to USB 3.0. The provision of USB testing & certification by TTA will pave the way for increase in domestic USB certification as well as increase in preference for certified USB products.
